The Department of Endocrine Surgery is a specialized clinic where all the problems of breasts are treated. The Department is composed of medical experts who focus on breast cancer-related problems.
In the first stage, the Department of Surgery diagnoses breast related problems and generally sets up a treatment plan. After that, an accurate diagnosis is made in collaboration with the Department of Radiology and Pathology.
When the diagnosis is confirmed, surgeons in the Department of Surgery who are specialized in breast perform an operation. The Department of Plastic Surgery and Reconstruction is responsible for breast reconstruction or problems after or during surgery. Psychologists deal with mental problems such as jitters and hypochondria. The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is responsible for mobility problems and upper limb lymphedeme.

 

 

Radiation oncologists perform radiation therapy. Breast experts provide effective anti-tumor and hormonal therapies, depending on the state of patient. Thus, all the medical professors in each specialty join hands to solve problems of patients.
